HEAP Cooling Assistance Component (CAC)

HEAP CAC stopped accepting applications on Friday, July 8, 2022. Mail-in applications postmarked on or before the CAC closing date meet the deadline and will be processed, but applications received after the CAC closing date will be denied.

HEAP Application Kit

Applicant households may apply by completing the HEAP Regular Benefit Application (LDSS-3421).

• The 2022-2023 Regular HEAP benefit opened on November 1, 2022.

Find out if you may be eligible and apply for programs and services.

• If you are eligible, you may receive one regular HEAP benefit per program year to help you pay for heating your home.
